Additional knowledge of Gemmology and Jewel CAD: In order to have an all rounded knowledge of jewellery the students are taught Gemmology, Diamond Grading and Computer-Aided Designing using the Jewel Cad software. Industry exposure: Prior to internship, industrial projects with top brands provide the much needed exposure and prepare the students for their professional life, which enables them to exhibit their potential. Internship: Each student is sent for a compulsory 8 week training programme in the industry. This imparts practical training and also enables them to have direct interaction with esteemed companies which further assist them in placement opportunities. Annual showcasing: A showcasing of the graduating batch is organized every year where students display their final design collection. This event is well attended by eminent personalities both from the industry and the media giving them ample exposure and placement opportunities. Graduation Souveniers: Each year a souvenier is published by the institute showcasing the work of the graduating batch. This souvenier is available for all students and also mailed to eminent personalities and companies from the jewellery industry. A variety of careers to choose from: The extensive 2 year diploma course covers all the major aspects related to Jewellery Design & manufacturing. As a result the job avenues are multifold and the graduating students can have variety of career options in the industry ie. Design, Manufacturing, Merchandising, Quality Control etc. Lifetime placement assistance: An online placement cell keeps all the students who graduate, connected to the industry, bringing together the prospective employers and potential candidates. Field trips: Students are taken for visits to the industry, art exhibitions and museums to increase their general exposure.
